The CNY Veterans Parade and Expo is happening this Saturday, November 9th. The parade steps off at noon at Chevy Court and the Expo runs in the Center of Progress Building from 9 to 2. Retired Army Lieutenant Colonel Diane Greenpope is this year’s Grand Marshal.
During the Veterans Expo at the New York State fairgrounds, The Volunteer Lawyers Project of CNY and the Syracuse University College of Law Veterans Law Clinic will be holding Valor Day, a day to provide legal advice to Veterans and their families along with helping them do simple wills. One in 26 people in the United States have seizures or epilepsy. The One in 26 Challenge is happening during the month of October.
